Today we began Chapter 2 - Quadratic equations. There was a lot to remember from your last three years of math. Your assignment was page 140 14 - 28Even. We will work the beginning tomorrow and I will answer questions at the end of the hour. We will go over how to check things on your calculator on Wednesday.

Well the dreaded test is over for most of you with the exception of those who would rather give blood than take a precalc test. Tomorrow those who haven't finished the test need to do so and the rest of you will get a headstart of the weekly word problems!

Due to absences, I held of on going over questions on page 124 & 126 as a group. I answered individual questions today and asked the class to begin working on the chapter review on page 130. Currently I am looking at having the chapter 1 test this Wednesday.

Yippee - Two half days for you! Today we took our quiz on inverses and composite functions. We had a workday - finishing/starting apge 124 and 125. Don't forget Thursday and Friday also count as workdays! I will plan on going over the word problems on Monday. Enjoy your weekend. P.S. Ah, another Monday. Remember this week we only have three days of 5th hour. I will plan on page 114/115 being due on Wednesday. We will have our quiz that day also as we missed it last Friday. Today we discussed direct and inverse relationships. Our assignment was on page 124. Tomorrow I will ask questions on page 124 and assign the word problems for the section. See you tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the last day of the marking period. It was great to see everyone who showed up after school. Sorry it has been so long since I have been able to have a tutor session. 1/4 of the way through the year. It goes so fast. I will answer questions on 114 and 115 tomorrow. Those will be DUE next Friday.

Well we're back again. Trying to get in the groove. Today we reviewed questions on page 106 and began going over the next section - inverse functions. Page 106 will be the last graded assignment for the current marking period which ends this Friday. Anyone with missing work, redo work, or a retest must be completed by that time. I will get you a missing work list if you need it.
