I missed you today. Hopefully you worked on your redo assignments. Those are due on Wednesday. The word problems, we will continue to work on throughout the marking period. I expect to see reasonable attempts made for each problem. I will see you tomorrow.

Today we had our normal Friday Quiz. You should have been completing page 154 today. All missing work through page 142 should have been turned in today. Monday I will be gone in the afternoon. Please work on the redo work and the word problems. All must be attempted with work showing on the paper by the end of the semester and 4 must be completed. Have a great weekend - see you Tuesday.

Today we went over new material. We reviewed taking the solutions of zeros of an equation and working backwards to the actual polynomial function. Unfortunately I am at home and having a mental block as to the new homework assignment. I will post that tomorrow. Tomorrow we will have our quiz and I will pass back redo papers.

Today we went over questions on page 143. I also handed out the answer key to the Chapter One test for you to review along with your test. Check to see what you did incorrectly so you do not make the same mistake next test.

Today we went over the next section about polynomial functions. Remember the difference between even and odd function graphs. As you work - focus on all you know about factoring. Tomorrow I will go over questions on page 143.

Today we began Chapter 2 - Quadratic equations. There was a lot to remember from your last three years of math. Your assignment was page 140 14 - 28Even. We will work the beginning tomorrow and I will answer questions at the end of the hour. We will go over how to check things on your calculator on Wednesday.

Well the dreaded test is over for most of you with the exception of those who would rather give blood than take a precalc test. Tomorrow those who haven't finished the test need to do so and the rest of you will get a headstart of the weekly word problems!

Due to absences, I held of on going over questions on page 124 & 126 as a group. I answered individual questions today and asked the class to begin working on the chapter review on page 130. Currently I am looking at having the chapter 1 test this Wednesday.

Yippee - Two half days for you! Today we took our quiz on inverses and composite functions. We had a workday - finishing/starting apge 124 and 125. Don't forget Thursday and Friday also count as workdays! I will plan on going over the word problems on Monday. Enjoy your weekend. P.S. Ah, another Monday. Remember this week we only have three days of 5th hour. I will plan on page 114/115 being due on Wednesday. We will have our quiz that day also as we missed it last Friday. Today we discussed direct and inverse relationships. Our assignment was on page 124. Tomorrow I will ask questions on page 124 and assign the word problems for the section. See you tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the last day of the marking period. It was great to see everyone who showed up after school. Sorry it has been so long since I have been able to have a tutor session. 1/4 of the way through the year. It goes so fast. I will answer questions on 114 and 115 tomorrow. Those will be DUE next Friday.

Well we're back again. Trying to get in the groove. Today we reviewed questions on page 106 and began going over the next section - inverse functions. Page 106 will be the last graded assignment for the current marking period which ends this Friday. Anyone with missing work, redo work, or a retest must be completed by that time. I will get you a missing work list if you need it.

I'm off. Today you need to work on Page 106 2-18Even, 40-56 Even. We went over that material yesterday. It is a review of functions and we added composite functions. Friday there is a new assignment. If you are retesting, you will be working on that instead. I will answer all questions on Monday with the assignments being due on Tuesday. Today we reviewed our quiz from last Friday and our test from chapter P. Please review your test and the answers we went through today. Make sure to ask any questions tomorrow - we will retest on Friday, but I will be gone Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow we will go over questions on page 97, and start the next section. You will have a workday on Thursday. Friday you can retest or use as a workday. I will answer all questions on Wednesday and Thursdays assignment on Monday when I return. Stay healthy!!!!

Today we reviewed domain and range. We went over the two rules: The denominator of a function cannot be zero and even roots must be positive. Then we looked at the domain and range graphically. Today's assignment was Page 87 2-30 even. It needs to be completed by Friday. Don't forget Page 74 is due Thursday - Yes Ben - Thursday!!!!!
