Ok here we go with a new semester and a whole new math. This semester we will focus on trigonometry. Our first assignment is page 556: 8-12E, 18-24E, 32, 34, 40, 48-70E. I will still be after every Thursday from 3:15-4:00 if you need extra help.

Today we went over slant asymptotes and finished chapter 2. To catch up: January 6th: Page 193 8-24E; January 7th: workday; Januayr 8th: Word problem day (5 need to be correct, so I highly suggest you attempt all 10) Today: Page 194 46, 50, 52, 58. Exams are next week so start getting things done!

I missed you today. Hopefully you worked on your redo assignments. Those are due on Wednesday. The word problems, we will continue to work on throughout the marking period. I expect to see reasonable attempts made for each problem. I will see you tomorrow.

Today we had our normal Friday Quiz. You should have been completing page 154 today. All missing work through page 142 should have been turned in today. Monday I will be gone in the afternoon. Please work on the redo work and the word problems. All must be attempted with work showing on the paper by the end of the semester and 4 must be completed. Have a great weekend - see you Tuesday.

Today we went over new material. We reviewed taking the solutions of zeros of an equation and working backwards to the actual polynomial function. Unfortunately I am at home and having a mental block as to the new homework assignment. I will post that tomorrow. Tomorrow we will have our quiz and I will pass back redo papers.
